Devin Walker

Chief Executive Officer, Creative Director, and Founder, Devin is the very definition of "serial entrepreneur." Devin has been involved in some of the most innovative Internet concepts to hit the Web since 1994. Beginning with his work at American/Warner Brothers Records, Walker has been on teams that helped spawn radical changes in the music, news, and media industries. As well as founding in 2002, Devin has worked on projects as diverse as the Ultimate Band List and ArtistDirect Network, motorcycle products, bikini lines, has several apps in the AppStore, as well as many newspaper websites for Knight Ridder, and Morris Communications. In 2010 was chosen as the "Best Existing Business" in the state of Kansas by the KS SBA. Himself an artist, Devin fits nicely into both the artistic, as well as the corporate communities.

Devin is passionate about a handful of charities that include: The James Bulger Learner Centre, Charity: Water, Breast Cancer Foundation and the Humane Society. Devin spends much of his time speaking and educating both adults and children about entrepreneurship and success.

Justin McClure

Executive Creative Director at Justin McClure Creative

Justin McClure is a creative director with over a decade of experience in the fields of advertising, motion graphics and broadcast television. McClure worked as an art director in Chicago for Leo Burnett, one of the top-ten advertising agencies in the U.S. From there, McClure moved on to Barkley Advertising in Kansas City, one of the largest employee-owned advertising agencies in the Nation. While at Barkley, McClure developed, implemented and led the agency’s first in-house motion graphics department. Next, McClure took a post with CMT in Nashville, part of MTV Networks, working as a lead designer and animator for broadcast television. In 2008, after honing his skills at CMT and continuing to develop his freelance design business, he decided to move his growing family back to Kansas to start his own company.

Today, McClure is the owner and executive creative director at Justin McClure Creative, a creative studio specializing in motion design, broadcast animation, video production and new media technologies located in Wichita, Kansas.

McClure’s creative portfolio includes work from major television networks such as ABC, CMT, Discovery Channel, Disney, National Geographic, the Science Channel and Syfy. He has also worked for national consumer brands such as American Airlines, Beechcraft, Cessna, Chick-fil-A, Dell, MLB, NFL, Old Navy, Payless, Sonic, and Sprint. His work with national level clients, as well as being the creator of, has led him to become one of the most recognized motion design artists in the industry.

Beyond the national clients and awards lies a greater purpose, the importance of giving back to his community. To that end, he has donated countless hours and creative talents to several local and national non-profit organizations including: Numana, Big Brothers Big Sisters, KPTS, Butler Community College, KidzCope, Rainbows United, Layla Grace Foundation, Abby’s Gift, Kyrie Foundation, Habitat for Humanity, Catholic Charities and Meridian 6.

Since bootstrapping the company with a Kickstarter campaign in April 2012, Roll20 has grown to more than 300,000 users who have spent a collective seven million hours gaming on the platform. Mark Janzen

Mark Janzen is the founder and CEO of Applianz Technologies, Inc., a pioneer in the field of virtualization appliances. An inventor, entrepreneur, and programmer since he was a child, Mark has proven his technology and entrepreneurship skills through numerous enterprises.
Prior to Applianz, Mark began his career with a desktop publishing business in high school and then started Campus Computers while still a student in college. Over the next seven years Mark transformed that company into Janzen Computer Consultants, a regional network integration and software development firm. As President at JCC Mark sold the company IKON Office Solutions, a Fortune 500 imaging firm. Mark stayed on as an executive with IKON for 18 months before leaving to found Windermere Capital Corporation to invest in a TV-over-Internet technologies he had co-invented. The technologies created at Windemere became the genesis of the company Applianz Technologies, Inc. which he has run for the last 10 years.
In addition to his technology interests, for the last 8 years Mark has been the owner of The Stables, a incubator for media companies. Mark resides in Wichita, Kansas where he resides with his daughter. When not building companies, Mark is an avid sailing enthusiast and board member of the Tallgrass Film Festival.

John Gendron

Manager, Referral Center Programs and Operations

John Gendron started working with NetWork Kansas in 2005 as a part-time referral coordinator while still a full-time college student and entrepreneur. He graduated in 2006 from Wichita State University with degrees in entrepreneurship and marketing. John was hired full-time in 2007. John completed an accelerated MBA through the Center for Management Development at Wichita State University in 2008, earning additional certifications from the Edward Lowe Foundation for economic gardening as a Program Director and most recently, as a Team Leader for the National Strategic Research Team. In his current role, he leads economic gardening engagements for second-stage Kansas companies and manages the Kansas Economic Gardening Network program as well as the Network Kansas referral center.
